At ACR Learning Centre, we’re more than just a school — we’re a community of hope and learning for over 400 refugee children in Kuala Lumpur. Every day, our students show up eager to learn, grow, and dream big. But they can’t do it alone — and that’s where you come in. We’re looking for kind, dedicated volunteers to support our amazing educators in the classroom and beyond. Whether you’re great with kids, love teaching, or just want to make a difference — your presence can have a big impact.

How You Can Help:

  • In-Class Support: Help teachers during lessons and give students that extra attention they sometimes need.

  • English Practice: Spend time chatting, reading, and helping students grow their confidence in speaking and writing English.

  • One-on-One Guidance: Be a helping hand to students who need a bit more support, especially those with learning challenges.

  • Share Your Talents: Love art, music, or sports? Bring your passion and creativity into our school community!

  • After-School Tutoring: Help kids review what they’ve learned or explore new interests in a relaxed setting.

Sponsor a child

Sponsorship amount for 1 child is RM200 per month (1 year pledge is RM 2,400)

What you will receive:

  • A brief profile of the child.
  • Academic progress reports in each semester.
  • Visitation with your sponsored child.

Partial sponsorship amount for 1 child food is a minimum of RM 7 per day RM210 per month.

What they will receive:

  • Your contribution will be pooled together with other sponsors.
  • Visit the meal time.
