🤗 Across four exciting days at Sunway University, students from Grades 7, 8, and 9 attended four engaging workshops focused on coding 👩🏻💻 and Artificial Intelligence 🤖🖥️.
Collaborating to program
Through guided practice 🧑🏻💻✨, they wrote simple commands and saw their code come to life on the screen 🖥️⚡. They also used Google Colab 🌐, an online platform that allows users to write and run Python 🐍 directly from a web browser, giving them valuable hands-on experience 🤝 and the confidence to experiment and learn in real time ⏱️🚀.
AIding in tasks
From the third workshop 🤖✨, students learned how to use Artificial Intelligence to boost their productivity in simple and practical ways. They discovered how AI tools can help with everyday tasks such as organizing ideas 🗂️, generating content ✍️, summarizing information 📄, and solving basic problems more efficiently.
As the four-day journey came to an end, the students left not only with new technical skills but also with greater confidence and curiosity about the world of technology 🌍✨. What once seemed complex and intimidating became exciting and achievable. From writing their first lines of Python code 🐍 to exploring how AI can enhance productivity 🤖, they discovered that innovation begins with simply trying. This workshop was more than just lessons and activities — it was a glimpse into the future, where these young learners can become the creators, problem-solvers, and digital leaders of tomorrow 🚀💡.
