From 17–23 August, four of our senior students — Sui Tin Rem, Siang Nai Oo, Abraham Tinonohom, and Van Uk Peng — proudly represented ACR Learning Centre at the International Youth Centre (IYC) Camp, joining peers from local schools and international participants from Japan.
The week-long program was a vibrant blend of cultural exchanges, leadership workshops, and educational visits, designed to inspire young minds and foster cross-cultural understanding. Our students had the privilege of exploring some of Malaysia’s most iconic and meaningful places, including:
-
National Mosque – appreciating Malaysia’s spiritual and architectural heritage
-
Mah Meri Culture Village – learning about the traditions of the indigenous Mah Meri community
-
Kampung Baru & Chow Kit – experiencing the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s heritage and diversity
-
Baku Jalanan – engaging with grassroots community initiatives
-
KLCC & REXKL – exploring modern urban development and creative spaces
-
Google Malaysia – gaining insights into innovation, technology, and the future of work
-
Sunway Lagoon – ending the camp with moments of joy, fun, and team bonding

This unforgettable journey gave our students more than just new experiences it broadened their worldview, enhanced their confidence, and deepened their teamwork and leadership skills. Most importantly, they returned with a stronger sense of responsibility to contribute positively to their community and beyond.
We are proud of Sui Tin Rem, Siang Nai Oo, Abraham Tinonohom, and Van Uk Peng for making the most of this opportunity and carrying the spirit of ACR Learning Centre wherever they go. Their achievements remind us that education goes beyond the classroom — it is about discovering, connecting, and growing into leaders of tomorrow.
