In conjunction with Malaysia’s 69th Merdeka celebration, Musica’s biggest concert of the year brought audiences on an extraordinary musical journey through cultures and eras. From the mystical sounds of the Medieval period to classical masterpieces, nostalgic melodies from the early 1900s, and contemporary favorites, the concert highlighted the evolution of music across time while reflecting the rich and diverse influences that have shaped Malaysia’s musical landscape.
Held at HGH Galaxy Hall, Sentul, the grand production featured an impressive ensemble comprising a Western Orchestra, Chinese Orchestra, Malay and Indian traditional instruments, a live band, choir, keyboard ensemble, dance performances, and more. Musicians ranging from young children to adults came together in a vibrant display of talent and harmony, demonstrating how music can transcend cultural and generational boundaries. The event was further honored by the official support of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC), underscoring the importance of nurturing young talent and preserving Malaysia’s rich artistic traditions.
The 13th Musica Annual Concert 2026 was more than just a musical performance; it was a celebration of unity, heritage, and artistic excellence. Through the participation of performers from various backgrounds, including our school’s Choir Club students, the concert successfully showcased the beauty of Malaysia’s cultural diversity and the power of music to bring people together. It was an unforgettable Merdeka celebration that inspired audiences to appreciate the nation’s rich history while looking forward to a harmonious future.
